TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade - The Short VersionTab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker. The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace. They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker. What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid. What You Trade OnYou get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should round things out when it lands.CostsThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.Execution SpeedThis is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.RegulationThis is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into how you think about it.The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.The BonusTabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding. The full review, covering the full fee table, withdrawal policies, and regulatory details, is check here at Trade The Day.
